Coaching Staff
Coach Jon begins his 12th year with CAC.
In the past 26 years, Coach Jon has coached over 1000 swimmers from Summer League, YMCA, USA club, and Providence College.
His swimmer’s achievements include the following:
1 Olympic qualifier (represented American Somoa)
1 World Championship qualifier (above swimmer’s sister represented American Somoa)
3 USA Summer National Qualifiers
6 USA Summer Junior National Qualifiers (2 finalist)
14 USA USA Future Qualifers (1 winner, 5 finalist, CAC finished top 10 in team scoring)
Numerous USA Sectional Qualifer’s
11 YMCA Winter National Champ Qualifiers (2 finalists)
22 YMCA Summer National Champ Qualifers (5 finalists)
4 years as Head Coach of Providence College and 8 semesters of both mens/womens Academic All-American
Over 50 RI swimmers who earned All-State, All-Division and including 3 RI State record Holders

Before T2 Aquatics, Jon spent 2 years at Hunterdon County YMCA in Flemington NJ . While at HCY, he led the senior group back to the YMCA National Championships. In the season prior to Jonjoining the staff HCY did not send a swimmer, but during his two years there they brought over 15 swimmers to the YMCA National Championships.
Before NJ, Jon spent 3 years as the Head Coach of the Temple Area Swim Club (TASC) in Texas which finished in the Top 8 of their LSC for all 3 years. He had 2 swimmers qualify for the USA Junior National Championships and another swimmer set an Texas State Record. He had 2 swimmers (brother & sister) compete for American Samoa at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2009 World Championships in Rome, Italy.
Prior to Texas , Jon was the Head Swimming and Diving Coach at Providence College in Rhode Island for 4 years. While at PC, his teams made the Academic All-American Team all 4 years with an average GPA of 3.21. While coaching at PC, he also was the Head Coach/Owner of the Providence Aquatic Club. The club team finished in the Top 6 at the New England Championships for 5 years. He has coached numerous Rhode Island HS state champions.
In 1994, Jon was named the Rhode Island Swimmer of the Year, swimming for East Providence HS. Jon has a daughter Charlotte who spends many practices and meets with the team!
